I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve repeated this line.

Like a broken record.

No matter where you do your PhD, make it count. In your home country, abroad, wherever.

A friend of mine, Shiv, recently graduated from the same department I graduated from. To say he had it tough would be underselling what he went through.
